Bobcat products on display at Samoter

New loader, utility vehicle, telehandler and attachment products to be shown at Italian earthmoving exhibition

At Samoter 2011, Bobcat will be showing the new TR50210 rotary telehandler, S850 skid-steer loader, T870 compact tracked loader, WS32 wheel saw and 3400D utility vehicle for the first time at the exhibition.

The TR50210 is one of four new rotating telehandlers from Bobcat, complementing the company’s existing range of 12 rigid-frame telehandlers. The new 360 degree and 400 degree rotating models, which have been launched to meet an increasing demand for this type of versatile telehandler, offer lifting capacities of 3.5-5.0 tonnes and lifting heights of 15.7-24.5m.

The new S850 skid-steer loader and T870 compact tracked loader are the most powerful loaders offering the highest lift height (3,657mm) ever manufactured by the company. The latest additions to the New Generation range of Bobcat loaders, the top-of-the-range S850 and T870 models offer significantly improved visibility and best-in-class comfort, greater pushing power, more powerful hydraulics, increased fuel capacity, higher rated operating capacities, higher horsepower and more uptime protection.

The S850 and T870 loaders are intended to run the most powerful attachments from Bobcat such as the new WS32 wheel-saw attachment, the largest model ever offered by Bobcat.  Designed to cut efficiently through asphalt, rock and concrete, the WS32 wheel saw has a fixed trenching width of 250mm, while the depth can range from 450mm to 800mm.

The WS32 is a powerful and efficient trenching tool that weighs 1,440kg, has a height of 1,802mm, width of 1,650mm and is 2,386mm long. The maximum wheel rotation speed is 95 rev/min. Applications include fixed-width trenching for utilities networks. The WS32 can be used for creating excavation sites and for slot cutting as well as for maintenance work, including trenching vertical edges for road and pavement repairs.

The increased power, traction and versatility offered by the 3400D utility vehicle allows the user to take on a wider variety of applications and to negotiate all types of terrain.
