Companies reinforce delivery of faster support, smarter technology, and tangible gains in efficiency

POWERSCREEN, specialists in mobile crushing, screening, and conveying solutions, and C. Christophel GmbH, their long-established distributor in northern Germany, are strengthening their partnership, which they say has built on trust, shared values, and a common vision: delivering real value to customers – locally, reliably, and sustainably.

This expanded strategic focus will see Christophel representing the full Powerscreen portfolio across northern Germany, with strong regional presence throughout Hessen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, and Thuringia. For customers in these regions, this will mean a single point of contact to provide closer support, faster response times, and seamless access to world-class solutions.

Since the introduction of their first mobile screening plant to Germany in the early 1970s, Powerscreen have helped shape the materials processing industry for more than five decades. A defining chapter of this success story has been written together with C. Christophel GmbH. For more than four decades, Christophel have been instrumental in building the Powerscreen brand in Germany, bringing the technology to the market, earning customer trust, and helping grow Powerscreen into the market leader they are today.

With deep regional roots, highly experienced sales and service teams, and extensive application expertise across recycling, quarrying, and construction, Christophel embody true proximity to the customer. Powerscreen say this hands-on approach perfectly complements their comprehensive portfolio – from Chieftain incline screens, Warrior and Titan scalpers, and stackers to Premiertrak jaw crushers, Trakpactor impactors, and Maxtrak cone crushers, all supported by digital tools and finance solutions designed to maximize productivity and reduce total cost of ownership.

Now in their third generation, C. Christophel GmbH have worked side by side with Powerscreen for more than 40 years and say that at the heart of this partnership lies a shared belief: listening first, understanding applications in depth, and delivering tailor-made solutions that create measurable, long-term benefits.

Rüdiger Christophel, managing director of C. Christophel GmbH, said: ‘For more than four decades, we have grown alongside Powerscreen – customer by customer, solution by solution. Representing the complete Powerscreen portfolio is both an honour and a responsibility. It allows us to deliver world-class technology combined with local expertise and long-term partnership.’

Sean Loughran, business line director at Powerscreen, commented: ‘Germany is far more than a market for Powerscreen – it is a cornerstone of our European journey. For more than 40 years, Christophel have played a vital role in building our success in the North, just as Jürgen Kölsch GmbH have done in the South. Together, these partnerships ensure our customers benefit from global innovation delivered with genuine local commitment.

‘By strengthening our focus with Christophel in northern Germany, alongside our long-standing partnership in the South, we are reinforcing our ability to deliver faster support, smarter technology, and tangible gains in efficiency and emissions reduction – across all of Germany.’
