Cedarapids launch next-generation CRH5064
New portable HSI impactor plant designed for high production, low maintemance and improved safety
CEDARAIDS have introduced the newest addition to their portfolio of wheeled plants, the CRH5064 portable horizontal-shaft impactor (HSI) plant.
Engineered to deliver unmatched productivity, versatility, and ease of transport for demanding crushing operations, the CRH5064 is aimed at customers seeking high productivity, low operating costs, and maximum versatility. Its advanced design is said to reduce maintenance, improve safety, and deliver consistent performance across diverse applications.
At the core of the CRH5064 is the powerful Cedarapids TI5064 horizontal-shaft impactor, which delivers 400hp and is engineered to meet high-tonnage demands, combining enhanced production with advanced safety features. With a maximum feed size up to 30in, the TI5064 is well suited to large-scale aggregate production, recycling, and demolition applications.
The TI5064 boasts a high-inertia four-bar rotor, monoblock primary curtain with replaceable tips, hydraulic tramp iron relief, and hydraulically assisted apron adjustments. These features maximize output while protecting the machine and operators. Prototype testing has demonstrated impressive results, achieving 600–700 tons/h through the plant when processing –30in shot rock limestone.
Key enhancements incorporated into the TI5064 design include patented hydraulic overload protection on both aprons, hydraulic assist apron adjustment, and a hydraulically opened hood for ease of inspection and maintenance. An optional jib crane and quick-release wedge lock system make changing blow bars easier.
Another highlight of the CRH5064 plant is the new 60in x 20ft Cedarapids Advantage series feeder, which offers long service life across the most rigorous applications. Its design is 8in wider than the largest previous model, thereby maximizing crusher utilization and efficiency. Equipped with a large stroke, it achieves high throughput tonnage and superior material separation at the grizzly by removing fines early, feeding only what needs to be crushed to the crusher and ensuring optimal performance from the TI5064 HSI.
Cedarapids say this combination ensures high production, low maintenance, and increased throughput, and is designed for a range of rigorous crushing applications: aggregate production as a primary crushing plant for quarry operations, or recycling & demolition, providing efficient handling of RAP and concrete recycling.
For added flexibility, a variety of options can be integrated, such as feed hopper extensions, hydraulic feeder lift option, blow bar jib crane, self-cleaning magnet, under-crusher pan feeder, electrical controls, and grizzly fines cross conveyors to suit specific applications. Designed with mobility in mind, the plant is also configurable with various axle options, including standard quad, Washington spread quad, or 3+1.
The CRH5064 HSI portable plant will be on display on the Terex booth at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas from 3–7 March 2026.
