Business receives nationwide Gold status in Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme for 12th year running

RECYCLING specialists O’Donovan Waste have successfully earned their Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold status for the 12 consecutive year, demonstrating the company’s ongoing dedication and compliance in road safety, fleet innovation. and driver training.

O’Donovan were the first independent haulier to be awarded FORS Gold status 12 years ago and the business has continued to invest heavily in its operations and working practices, which has resulted in retaining the stringently audited accreditation every year since.

 

To achieve a FORS gold standard, fleet operators must demonstrate exemplary levels of compliance based upon safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. O’Donovan have ensured that they have not only met these requirements but also consistently exceeded the audit criteria.

In 2022, the company went even further by switching its entire fleet to using solely HVO biofuel, significantly reducing its environmental impact.
