Quality control certification for PIX Hydraulics
Company joins elite league of DNV MED-approved manufacturers for improved manufacturing standards
PIX Hydraulics (Europe) Ltd, the European arm of PIX Transmissions Ltd, have been awarded the prestigious DNV (Det Norske Veritas) MED (Marine Equipment Directive) Type Approval. This latest accreditation is in addition to the DNV certification that the company received in 2008.
The DNV MED Approval is an unbiased third-party certification attesting to a product’s adherence to specific standards or specifications, and verification of an appropriate production quality system. The accreditation is strongly recommended for products used in mining, marine and offshore industries.
The range of PIX products conforming to DNV MED certification includes: Performer; Prokamp; Armour; Thermal; Hi-Pulse; Impetus; and Bastion branded hoses.
