OCL Regeneration turn to Red Knight 6 for recycling expertise

Rubblemaster impact crusher and Anaconda screener

Company takes delivery of Rubblemaster and Anaconda machines to help meet aggregates recycling targets

OCL Regeneration, specialists in aggregates recycling, have purchased new crushing and screening equipment from distributors Red Knight 6 Ltd. The latest machines – a Rubblemaster RM100GO! impact crusher and an Anaconda DF410 screener – are being utilized to process asphalt to –20mm which, in turn, is screened while oversize material goes back to the crusher.

All processed material is used in OCL’s national ex-situ stabilization works for the manufacture of Foambase and HBM (hydraulically bound material) to national standards.

Stuart Gready, managing director of OCL Regeneration, commented: ‘We run some of the best equipment in the industry to meet our requirements and needed to add another supplier into the chain. After travelling to Austria with Paul Donnelly from RK6 to see the RM100GO! in operation followed by a factory visit to see who was behind this equipment, I felt confident enough to add the RM and Anaconda machines to our fleet.’

He added: ‘The same applied for the Anaconda; the 10ft x 4ft screen box and footprint of the machine were perfect for our sites and working alongside the Rubblemaster crusher, we have found it to be user-friendly, easy to use and a good decision to purchase from RK6 who pride themselves in being ‘all hands on deck’ when it comes to all aspects of keeping a customer’s needs met.’

At 29 tonnes, the high-performance 250 tonnes/h RM100GO! crusher processes a wide variety of materials, including concrete, rubble and asphalt. Its diesel-electric drive system reduces operating costs by up to 30% and the optimized impact plate geometry ensures not only high throughput but also the production of extremely high-quality, homogeneous aggregates.

Some of the key features of the Anaconda DF410 scalping screen include: a flip down tailgate to provide feed from a crusher; variable speed control on all belts; and a 15min set up time.
