New drum screen from Terex Recycling Systems

New TSD-280 pre-sorting drum from Terex Recycling Systems New TSD-280 pre-sorting drum from Terex Recycling Systems

Latest TSD-280 pre-sorting drum specially engineered for recycling heavy-duty construction, demolition, and industrial wastes

TEREX Recycling Systems have expanded their range of modular recycling plants with the introduction of the new TSD-280 drum screen, which has been specifically designed for processing heavy-duty and unsorted construction, demolition, and industrial waste.

The machine enhances recycling operations by pre-sorting bulky waste materials and improving overall operational efficiency by providing a more consistent flow of materials – reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

With less extensive pre-sorting activities, the TSD-280 drum screen can provide customers with higher capacity, improved material purity, and reduced contamination. Other benefits include reduced labour costs (removes the need for additional material handlers/operators) and increased environmental sustainability, thanks to a more efficient and sustainable recycling process.

Kenny Hull, product and commercial manager at Terex Recycling Systems, commented: ‘The TSD-280 drum screen is designed to support recycling facilities by improving operational efficiency and contributing to sustainability efforts. It is an excellent choice for pre-sorting bulky construction and industrial waste, which can either be disposed of, sorted, or shredded for reintroduction into the process. This results in a more consistent and efficient sorting operation, producing higher-quality recyclables with reduced contamination.’

The TSD-280 is available in various sizes to meet specific needs and application requirements. It can be supplied either as a standalone pre-sorting line or integrated into existing and new recycling systems.
