Liebherr-Rental equip latest dozers with laser system

New bulldozers joining the Liebherr Rental fleet will now be equipped with the Topcon 2D laser-guided system for pinpoint accuracy in levelling and grading applications. Consisting of an in-cab control box with graphic LCD display and 360° receivers with two electric masts located above the cutting edge, the Topcon system is said to be flexible enough to handle the most complex tasks under fully automatic control.

The user-friendly 2D laser system can be fully upgraded to GPS and, according to Liebherr, provides the operator with accurate and consistent blade setting for optimum level and grade control.  

The addition of the Topcon laser system to Liebherr-Rental’s latest dozers reaffirms the company’s promise to have top specification plant and equipment in its hire fleet, which includes excavators, loaders and telehandlers, as well as a range of blades and buckets to suit a broad range of applications.
