Finlay unveil next-generation 693 and 694 inclined screeners

New Finlay 694 screener offers a triple-deck configuration with an optional high-volume rinser for wet applications Finlay's new 694 screener offers a triple-deck configuration with an optional high-volume rinser for wet applications

Latest models designed for greater efficiency, easier transport, and lower operating costs for quarrying and recycling applications

FINLAY have introduced the new 693 and 694 inclined screeners – the latest evolution in the OEM’s mobile screening portfolio. Replacing the 693+ and 694+ models, these redesigned machines deliver high performance, improved efficiency, and easier transport at a more competitive cost.

Both models feature high-energy screenboxes for processing a wide range of materials, from aggregates and sand to coal and topsoil. The 693 and 694 screeners feature a large hopper with a variable-speed belt feeder, optional remote tipping or double-deck vibrating grid, and a hydraulic system optimized for power and fuel efficiency.

The powerpack is designed to run at lower engine speeds, reducing long-term operating costs, while hybrid capability allows operation via the onboard engine or an external power supply. Simplified folding mechanisms and extra-wide manual catwalks improve deployment and maintenance, and T-Link telematics with a complimentary seven-year data subscription are fitted as standard.

The 693 comes with a two-deck screenbox: a 6.1m x 1.53m (20’ x 5’) top deck and a 5.55m x 1.53m (18’x 5’) bottom deck, delivering efficient screening even at small aggregate sizes. The 694 expands the concept with a triple-deck configuration, offering two full-size 6.1m x 1.53m (20’ x 5’) top and middle decks and a 5.55m x 1.53m (18’ x 5’) bottom deck, providing a total screening area of 27m² (290ft²). An optional integrated high-volume rinser enhances its suitability for wet applications.

‘By revisiting the original 693 and 694 designs, Finlay delivers machines that are easier to transport, more cost-effective to purchase, and better aligned with real-world operational requirements,’ said Matt Dickson, business line director at Finlay. ‘This launch is part of our ongoing commitment to product improvement and responsiveness to feedback from distributors and customers.’
