Conexpo debut for Keestrack R5e impact crusher

Keestrack R5e impactor
Making its debut at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2023 will be the Keestrack R5e impactor

Company will also showcase machinery including the H4e cone crusher, B7 jaw crusher and K6 scalper screen

KEESTRACK, the Belgian-based mobile crushing and screening equipment specialists, will be exhibiting several machines at this year’s Conexpo-Con/Agg show, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Making its Americas debut will be the newly designed R5e impactor which has a 400 tonnes/h materials processing capacity and a host of sustainability features such as full electric plug-in and a drop off diesel engine/gen set.

The R5e impact crusher features a two-deck precision screen (4,760mm x 1,500mm) and double-deck pre-screen (2,200mm x 1,000mm) that ensures optimum screening of materials which can be stockpiled by side conveyors or moved via the crusher bypass.

Also on display will be another fully hybrid electric machine – the H4e mobile cone crusher – which has been specially designed to process the toughest rock, ore, stone, gravel, and aggregates.

As with all diesel-electric hybrid machines from Keestrack, the H4e is equipped with electric plug-in connection (driven by a 251kW e-motor) and features an on-board diesel generator. With a maximum feed size of 185mm and variable crushing chamber configurations, the H4e cone crusher offers an optional three-deck post-screen module, with a capacity as high as 208 tonnes/h.

Keestrack’s extensive booth will also feature heavy-duty mobile plant, including the B7 jaw crusher, which has been specially engineered for use in the most demanding quarrying and mining applications.

With a feed opening of 1,200mm x 830mm, the machine, which comes with a vibrating feeder with a two-step grizzly (2,200mm x 1,080mm), accepts a maximum feed size of 700mm. The B7 unit also has a patented non-stop auto-release system, which protects the crusher from uncrushable feed and resets the closed-side setting (CSS) automatically during operation.

The company’s screening equipment range at Conexpo will be represented by the K6 scalper screen, which is available as a diesel-hydraulic option or fully hybrid e-version. Featuring a long 4,500mm x 1,800mm screen deck, a hydraulic liftable screen box, standard heavy-duty plate apron feeder, and hydraulic adjustable screen angle ensures efficient screening of end products. The K6 has a maximum rated capacity of 700 tonnes/h.

Alongside new and established products on display, Keestrack will also showcase new tools and concepts that support machine optimization, sustainability/electrification, and enhanced environmental operation.
