Vibratory screen combines low cost with ease of use
The new Mogensen VRS vibratory screen being introduced into the UK by Orthos (Engineering) Ltd is said to combine the lowest cost of operation with versatility and ease of use for wet and dry screening, de-dusting and dewatering.
Orthos were selected as UK distributors by Swedish company Fredrik Mogensen AB, owned by the German Allgaier Group, following an in-depth study of UK screening equipment by the Swedish Trade Council.
Made of stainless steel with an anti-vibration stand, the VRS unit provides advanced protection, control and classification screening, with up to four size fractions and fast, simple vibrator adjustment.
Easy screen cloth replacement is a key feature, with user-friendly clamping screw technology to ensure maximum tightness. A ball cleaning system and flexible connections are also available for the machine.
Technical features of the VRS screen include the choice of one, two or three screening decks, displacement through rubber elements, internal screen frames, and a special flange-mounted unbalanced motor with adjustable eccentric cams. Four models built from standardized components cover 600mm to 1,500mm outside diameters and 0.28m2 to 1.59m2 screening areas.
