VEGA unveil signal conditioner

THE new VEGAMET 391 is said to be one of the most flexible, cost-effective and comprehensive single transmitter solutions available. It can take a single 4-20mA analogue or HART input, compute level, flow (with totalizer), distance, weight or temperature.

Up to six alarms can be configured for standard tasks as well as ‘tendency’ monitoring – a solution for checking remote tanks for theft, leakage and, by linking to a multi pump system, respond to changes in demand.

A major feature of the VEGAMET 391 is its Intelligent Pump Management (IPM), which offers two modes of operation and an integrated real-time clock with six control/alarm relays. IMP allows users to evenly utilize, monitor and control pumps, as well as send notification of any failure from up to four digital inputs for pump status.

Configuration can be done via a keypad and large backlit graphical display, or using Windows-based DTM compatible software eg PACTware. The device has integral data logging for remote inventory data transmission via RS232 Modbus TCPIP/Ethernet or dial up. It also has integrated web browser, SMS text and email capabilities for values and alarms.
