Unit Manager - Penderyn, South Wales

• Salary range £55k - £60k

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Unit Manager for our Penderyn quarry, near Aberdare.

This role covers all day-to-day activities including, H&S, regulatory compliance and environmental controls, as well as resource planning and effective budget and financial management.

The successful candidate will ensure optimum production levels, driving quality, service and business efficiency as well as leading the on-site team plus contractors.

You will have a hands-on approach, excellent communications skills and proven leadership ability. Ideally, you will also have mineral sector experience along with Higher Level qualifications and/or appropriate vocational skills.
