Positive feedback on Longcliffe Quarries’ HD605-8 haul truck

One year on – Marubeni-Komatsu visit Brassington Moor Quarry to find out how the truck is performing

IN September 2024, Derbyshire-based Longcliffe Quarries upgraded their existing rigid dumptruck at Brassington Moor Quarry to a Komatsu HD605-8. The new truck is used daily to move material from the rock face to the primary crusher. Recently, Marubeni-Komatsu revisited the site to see how the truck is faring and to hear about the benefits that the new technology has delivered. The results are very positive in terms of efficiency and subsequent environmental improvements.
