Raymond Brown appoint new chief finance officer

Wayne Roberts appointed to oversee all finance and IT activities within the business

RAYMOND Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd have announced the appointment of Wayne Roberts as chief finance officer, with effect from 31 October 2016.

Mr Roberts will oversee all finance and IT activities within the business, and will sit on the board with chief executive Stuart Harris and chief operating officer Steve Clasby.

 

A chartered accountant, Mr Roberts (pictured) brings more than 10 years’ extensive experience gained as a chief finance officer/director across a variety of industries, including the environmental, engineering and construction sectors.

He has held a number of senior finance positions with companies such as Shell and Amey plc, as well with as private equity-backed businesses.

Mr Roberts will focus on supporting Raymond Brown in achieving their growth aspirations, whilst ensuring that finance plays its role in the ongoing efficient operations of the company.

Stuart Harris commented: ‘It gives me great pleasure to welcome Wayne to the business. He has a strong and successful background, and a wealth of expertise that will fit well within Raymond Brown.
