Powerscreen to reveal new machine enhancements at Bauma 2013

Powerscreen, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment, will be unveiling new product improvements at Bauma 2013. From 15-21 April, Powerscreen will exhibit three machines on the Terex booth F7 · 710/711 - the XA400S pre-screen jaw crusher, the XH320X impact crusher and the Warrior 1400X screen.

Commenting on the line-up, Damian Power, Powerscreen global product line director, said: ‘We are excited to be revealing the latest enhancements made to our product portfolio at Bauma. This year’s exhibition will be the first showing of the new Warrior 1400X screen anywhere in the world and will provide visitors with an opportunity to look closer at the recently released XA400S pre-screen and XH320X crushers. Our team of crushing and screening professionals are looking forward to meeting new and existing customers to discuss how our equipment and features can benefit their businesses.’

Powerscreen XA400S pre-screen

The Powerscreen X400S jaw crusher has been developed to incorporate a fully independent high-amplitude, hydraulically driven pre-screen with increased drop angle on the bottom deck improving machine throughput and overall capacity. In order to facilitate improved pre-screened material flow, the discharge opening from the under chute has been increased from 200mm to 320mm, allowing faster movement of pre-screened material to bypass the crushing chamber.

Powerscreen XH320X

The Powerscreen XH320X is a mid-sized horizontal impact crusher designed to offer operators and contractors excellent reduction and high consistency of product shape for performance in quarry and recycling applications.

The plant is capable of working in the most demanding environments and features rapid set-up time, fuel-efficient direct-drive system and excellent output potential of up to 320 tonnes/h (352 US tons/h). It has been developed to incorporate a fully independent hydraulically driven pre-screen, improving fines removal and reducing chamber wear costs for the customer. To coincide with the independent pre-screen feature, a hydraulically folding extended side conveyor and a full length product conveyor have been added to the machine with stockpile heights of 3.7m and 4m respectively.

Powerscreen Warrior 1400X

The 1400X has been designed with economy in mind, with reduced engine running speed and enhanced hydraulics, the 1400X offers a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 15% in comparison to its predecessor. This can translate into a substantial financial saving for customers over the lifetime of the machine.

Powerscreen invite Bauma attendees to visit booth F7 · 710/711 to receive first-hand information on Powerscreen products and to meet members of the Powerscreen sales and customer support teams and representatives from Powerscreen’s global dealer network.
