Power to the tower

Arc-Gen’s recently introduced Power Tower lighting generator features oval metal halide lamps which are designed to be more environmentally friendly by directing light downwards, reducing the amount of ‘light pollution’. The unit is designed to be transported with the light heads fitted to the mast.

The unit has a 9.14m, three-section, electrically operated mast, while the lighting head and mast can be manually rotated through 360° without lowering the mast.

Powered by a Kubota D905 diesel engine coupled to a Leroy Somer alternator, the unit has a 114-litre (30gal) polyethylene fuel tank which is removable for cleaning purposes.
