New screens from Aughey
At the recent Hillhead 2005 exhibition Aughey launched the Horizon range of screens — the A4 and the A8.
The Horizon A4 is a high-capacity, five-product, tracked screen offering throughputs of up to 400 tonnes/h. It combines a heavy-duty 12 x 5 inclined screen and a 16 x 5 horizontal screen, fully utilizing each of the screens characteristics. The inclined pre-screen takes off the first two grades and the horizontal screen takes off the finer grades. The oversize material is discharged near the feed point, making it easy to separate to stockpile or recycle back to the crusher. The A4 can be converted to an 800 tonnes/h unit by changing the screening unit to an apron feeder and retuning the horizontal screen.
The Horizon A8 is a high-capacity primary screen capable of throughputs of up to 800 tonnes/h. The heavy-duty Hardox-lined steel apron feeder provides a regular feed to the 16 x 5 horizontal screenbox, which features adjustable stroke amplitude, angle and speed. Hydraulic folding conveyors separate all screened products and provide substantial stockpiling capacity. The A8 can be converted to a four- or five-product machine by exchanging the apron feeder for the A4 screening unit.
