New quick coupler and bucket attachments from Doosan

Doosan bucket attachment

Latest quick couplers and buckets designed for new-generation Doosan wheel loaders

DOOSAN have launched a new range of ISO 23727 quick-coupler systems for the company’s new-generation DL200-3 and DL420-3 Stage IIIB-compliant wheel loaders. For use with the new quick couplers, Doosan have also introduced a new line of pallet fork and bucket attachments.

The introduction of the quick-coupler wheel loader attachments is the latest expansion of the new Doosan heavy attachment range for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Offering a one-stop shop approach for attachments and increased versatility for Doosan wheel loaders and excavators, the heavy attachment range has been designed to match key machine parameters and kinematics to ensure optimum performance, visibility, stability and safe operation at all times. All of the attachments are designed, manufactured, tested and approved in accordance with current international standards.

The new Doosan wheel loader quick couplers offer a robust construction with high-strength steel for extended lifetime in the toughest conditions. An open-frame design reduces the weight of the couplers and ensures maximum visibility for the operator, with compact dimensions that minimize machine capacity and breakout force losses.

For use with the quick couplers, Doosan have introduced a number of new attachments including: pallet forks with load capacities from 5 to 9 tonnes; general-purpose buckets from 2.0 to 4.2 cubic metres; heavy-duty buckets from 2.0 to 4.2 cubic metres; and light material buckets from 3.0 to 6.5 cubic metres.

The bucket attachments for the company’s wheel loader range offer a combination of robust construction and superior penetration capabilities, covering the full range of applications from light-duty jobs to the most arduous tasks. Each bucket is designed to fit specific models to match the key kinematic parameters of the wheel loaders, while critical bucket positions have been optimized to improve digging and dumping performance.

The buckets are matched to the tipping loads of the wheel loaders for maximum stability and safe operation of the machine. Doosan’s rock buckets, for example, are designed for the handling and digging of hard compacted material and blasted rock in mining or quarrying applications, where high breakout forces are required.

Thick reinforcement strips and bars protect critical areas on the bucket sides. Concave sides provide higher penetration and the standard welded ESCO teeth have a high-penetration profile. The buckets are made of high-wear-resistant steel with a hardness of 420 BHN.

The company’s light material buckets are large in capacity; the convex sides results in high capacities up to 9 cubic metres and reduce spillage of materials, while the sloped bases ensure fast and easy filling. The buckets come standard with a bolted reversible cutting edge and are suitable for loading low-density materials. Critical parts such as the edge, heel plates and edge savers are made of hardened steel of up to 400 BHN for high abrasion resistance.
