New president and CEO for CNH Global

Chief financial officer Richard Tobin to replace Harold Boyanovsky who retires at the end of this year

CNH Global N.V. have announced that president and chief executive officer Harold Boyanovsky is to retire on 31 December 2011. He will be succeeded by CNH’s current chief financial officer, Richard Tobin, with effect from 1 January 2012.

Camillo Rossotto, treasurer and head of financial services for Fiat Industrial S.p.A., will then assume the role of chief financial officer of CNH, while retaining his current responsibilities.

Mr Tobin, who has been chief financial officer of CNH since March 2010, will bring considerable experience of leading multinational industrial companies to his new role as chief executive. He joined CNH from SGS Group Geneva, in Switzerland, where in June 2004 he was appointed chief financial officer and head of information technology.

Prior to that he was chief operating officer of SGS North America and also held management positions with Alcan Aluminum of Montreal, Canada, the Alusuisse Lonza Group of Zurich, Switzerland, and GTE Corp. of Stamford, Connecticut, in the US.

‘Richard has been a key member of the leadership team since he joined the Group in the early part of 2010,’ said outgoing president and chief executive Harold Boyanovsky. ‘His operational, sales, marketing and financial experience throughout his international career uniquely qualify him to lead CNH into the future.’
