Staffare partner with Hyundai to help strengthen Swedish construction equipment market

HYUNDAI Construction Equipment have announced the appointment of Staffare to help strengthen the Swedish construction market. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Staffare’s four-decade legacy of machinery distribution within Sweden’s agricultural, contracting, and earthmoving sectors.

Hyundai’s comprehensive product portfolio – including hydraulic excavators ranging from 0.8 to 100 tonnes, wheel loaders and articulated dumptrucks – aligns precisely with Staffare’s strategic objectives.

‘Historically, our contracting division has focused on machines up to 12 tonnes,’ said Thomas Svederus, sales manager at Staffare. ‘We have long sought a partner offering an extensive excavator range, and Hyundai fulfil this requirement with distinction.’

Since formalizing the partnership on 1 April, Staffare have executed their inaugural sales –three wheeled excavators – and released a series of competitive offers. In the coming months, the company will intensify its customer engagement efforts, presenting Hyundai’s complete product suite across all 11 Staffare locations nationwide.

Hyundai’s existing Swedish fleet is predominantly concentrated in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Leveraging Staffare’s entrenched presence in northern Sweden, the partnership aims to broaden market penetration throughout the country.

‘We approach this endeavour with both humility and resolute commitment,’ continued Mr Svederus. ‘While challenges are inevitable, the prospects for mutual success with Hyundai are exceptionally promising.’

Concurrent with their sales expansion, Staffare are recruiting additional Hyundai-dedicated sales personnel in Gothenburg and Stockholm. A fleet of demonstration machines is en route to support hands-on customer evaluation, while service continuity for existing Hyundai equipment will be maintained in co-operation with former importers EMS and Stig Machine until 31 December 2025.

Effective 1 January 2026, Staffare will assume full responsibility for aftermarket services and spare-parts logistics for all Hyundai machines in Sweden.

‘Hyundai is a globally respected brand with a robust product pipeline,’ concluded Mr Svederus. ‘We are honoured to represent Hyundai in Sweden and are eager to advance our shared vision for the Swedish construction industry.’
