New hybrid jaw crusher first for Finlay

Finlay

First J-1280 hybrid jaw crusher rolls off production line at Omagh ‘Crushing Centre of Excellence’

FINLAY are marking a key milestone in their product roadmap with the first production build of their new hybrid J-1280 jaw crusher rolling off the Omagh production line, with further orders in the pipeline from across the globe.

This new model is expected to prove popular among companies looking to make a positive contribution to the environment. Operationally, the machine can be powered by its on-board genset powerpack or by connection to an external power source.

The plant’s electrically driven power systems will provide significant cost savings and will be advantageous to those operating on job sites where emissions and noise levels are issues.

In addition, the machine is fitted with a high-powered alternator that can generate sufficient energy to power downstream screening plants or stockpile conveyors, further improving overall fuel consumption and production train efficiency.

Finlay business development and marketing director Neil McIlwaine said: ‘We are delighted that the J-1280 hybrid jaw crusher has now entered full production. This is an important machine for our business, and we are delighted that its new owner, Vladimír Dostál, and our dealer, Tomáš Novák, (pictured) travelled from the Czech Republic to see the machine in the final stages of production build.

‘The machine will be dispatched from the factory in the coming days and will be commissioned on Mr Dostál site in the Czech Republic by our factory service personnel.’
