New generation Bobcat loader

Bobcat have launched the S650 skid-steer loader, the first of a new generation of machines that is said to revolutionize the design of skid-steer and compact tracked loaders worldwide. The vertical lift path S650 loader has an operating weight of 3,777kg, a rated operating capacity of 1,220kg and a tipping load of 2,440kg.

The new generation Bobcat loaders are characterized by several new features, the prominent one being a spacious new premium cab that is located in a new forward position. This forward position offers a 30% increase in all-round visibility, whilst the larger door provides 40% better forward visibility. Visibility through top, side and rear windows has also been enhanced. There is ample adjustment in the seat and suspension to suit each individual’s preference. The performance of the heating and air-conditioning system has been increased by 35%. The cab also features optional, selectable joystick controls.

The S650 has a height of 2,065mm, a width and length with bucket of 1,880mm and 3,474mm, respectively, and a bucket hinge pin height of 3,149mm.

Like all new generation loaders, the S650 offers a significant increase in power and hydraulic performance that boosts productivity, enhances attachment performance and results in faster cycle times.

  • Powered by a Kubota V3307-DI-TE3 55.4 kW Stage IIIA diesel engine
  • Standard hydraulic flow increased to 87.1 litres/min (high flow of 115.5 litres/min is an option)
  • Traction increased by 15-20% for greater pushing and digging power
  • Completely new engineering design and improved durability increases uptime
  • Simplified maintenance and serviceability for reduced downtime at extended intervals
  • Maximum travel speed of 19.8km/h (optional)
  • High-flow hydraulics and two-speed options.
