Metso open new service centre in the US

Metso

Company strengthens customer support and global network with new Arizona facility

METSO have announced a significant investment in the US with the opening of a new service centre in Mesa, Arizona, to support their customers in the mining, aggregates and processing industries.

The Mesa service facility is yet another example of the company’s continuing investment in delivering high-level services to its customers, particularly enhancing productivity and reducing operational costs for mining and aggregates businesses across the region.

The location of the service centre will also provide faster delivery of equipment repairs, field servicing, and wear and spare parts, as well as whole life cycle solutions. The customer support facility is expected to house around 60 service engineers and experts.

‘The Mesa service centre is strategically located in Arizona to provide local services to our growing mining and aggregate customer base in southwestern USA and Mexico,’ said Terry J Wilkins, senior vice president for Metso Minerals, USA and Canada.

Perttu Louhiluoto, Metso president for mining and aggregates services, added: ‘It complements our global network of service centres and is part of our investment in making closer contact with customers, so that we can extend and improve the services we provide.’
