New agreement expansion strengthens Finnish firm’s presence in the Russian market

METSO are expanding their agreement with Sever Minerals for the distribution of aggregates equipment, spare parts and wear parts to a wider area of the Russian territory. The agreement expansion aims at strengthening the company’s presence in the Russian market and allows Metso to be closer to their customers.

Under the expansion agreement, Server Minerals will increase their current portfolio of equipment and services supplied to the aggregates industry including: Nordberg C Series jaw crushers; HP Series/GP Series cone crushers; NP Series impact crushers; Barmac VSI crushers; rock breaker solutions; and Metso NW portable crushing and screening equipment.

‘Sever Minerals has a proven track record as distributors of Metso's equipment and services,’ said Adrian Wood, head of global distribution, aggregates for Metso (pictured). ‘As highly efficient agents, they have scored many achievements during the years of our relationship. Additionally, they are expanding their coverage to the North West, Siberia and Far East federal districts of Russia. This is a clear benefit for our customers, as it will allow us to be closer to them and ensures better availability and service support.’

Sergey Sarkisiants, development director of Sever Minerals, commented: ‘During the nearly ten years of working with Metso, we have established a good partnership that has allowed us to quickly and effectively meet the challenges of even the most difficult projects. Partnering with a global industry leader like Metso gives us the possibility to offer the most reliable solutions and technologies that have been tested at sites around the world.’
