LiuGong Europe president Howard Dale formally recognized for helping advance Chinese OEM's worldwide growth strategy
HOWARD Dale, president of LiuGong Europe, has been honoured with the prestigious Guangxi Golden Silkball Friendship Award by the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The accolade is one of Guangxi’s highest distinctions for international experts and leaders who have made outstanding contributions to regional development, industrial cooperation, and cultural exchange.
Since joining LiuGong in 2014, Mr Dale has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s presence across Europe’s mature markets. Working closely with teams in both Europe and Guangxi, he has helped transform LiuGong Europe into a structured, customer-focused, and market-driven organization, supported by a growing and increasingly confident dealer network.
A key milestone in this partnership was the successful transition of Dressta dozer production from Poland to Changzhou, ensuring full alignment in development, quality, competitiveness, and long-term strategy across LiuGong’s global product lines.
Under Mr Dale’s leadership, LiuGong Europe have also accelerated their Battery-Electric Vehicle (BEV) programme in Europe, with coordinated efforts between Liuzhou and European teams positioning the company as a pioneer in sustainable construction equipment.
