JCB secure huge deal with Lynch Plant Hire

JCB have won a multi-million-pound order – including 42 tracked and wheeled excavators – from London-based Lynch Plant Hire, one of the country’s leading plant hire firms.

The deal includes an order for twenty JS220 and twenty JS130 tracked excavator models in addition to two wheeled excavators – a JS175W and a JS130W.

According the Lynch Plant Hire, the excavator order was placed in response to increased demand from customers for machines suitable for use in the road and rail sectors.

The deal also includes 40 JCB Loadall telescopic handlers and six backhoe loaders.

‘One of the key criteria when selecting our plant is product quality – ensuring that our customers have access to the best equipment available and that it is always up to the task,’ said Lynch Plant Hire director Robert Lynch.

‘With this in mind, we have offered JCB loadalls and backhoe loaders for more than 15 years as they are universally accepted as the best machines on the market.’

‘When it came to expanding our tracked and wheeled excavator fleet, we conducted trials of the leading models using our own operators to carry out the tests.

‘Ultimately, we chose the JCB machines as the operator feedback was very positive, particularly regarding the smoothness of the controls and stability when digging.’

Mr Lynch added that back-up was equally important, and that both JCB and Lynch Plant Hire’s dealers, Greenshields JCB, had shown a great willingness to help.

‘We are confident they will provide us with excellent service whether it be working together to enhance the safety features on our fleet or with on-site support to minimize downtime for our customers,’ he said.
