Roadtechs sign Armed Forces Covenant
Company commits to employing and supporting former and current armed forces personnel
ROADTECHS Group have signed the Armed Forces Covenant committing to employing and supporting armed forces personnel into work.
Roadtechs have pledged to provide work opportunities and support to those who serve in the armed forces, whether regular or reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families. As an armed forces-friendly organization, Roadtechs will commit to supporting reservists and those in cadet organizations by granting additional leave, will champion national events, and will support armed forces charities.
A leading manufacturer, supplier, and installer of specialist surface treatment solutions, Roadtechs have also pledged to attend national recruitment events to assist forces workers as they transition from serving into civilian job roles.
Adam Lilley, general manager, said: ‘We are very proud to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and have agreed several commitments that will see us support the armed forces community throughout the years to come. We are grateful to those who have dedicated their lives – and still do – to protecting our country and we would be honoured to have them amongst our own workforce.
‘As each surface treatment season gets busier, we recognize the need to recruit from diverse pools of talent. We believe the nature of our surface treatment work, such as Reclamite asphalt rejuvenation, would suit armed forces personnel. It’s technical, precise, fast-paced, seasonal and we require skilled operators with an HGV licence.’
