Hiboo expand UK footprint

French tech company reinforces UK development by appointing Ciaran Higgins as local representative 

HIBOO, a French company specialized in data intelligence and decarbonization of fleets of vehicles and construction machinery, have expanded their footprint in the UK under the leadership of Ciaran Higgins.

Hiboo have recently entered the British market through a partnership with Halomec, who specialize in optimizing the productivity of mobile and static plant; by joining the CPA; and by working with Flannery, Potter Plant, Blackwood, and MCS Rental Software. The French tech company wants to further develop its activities in a market where it manages the data of 10,000 units connected to its platform.

UK representative Ciaran Higgins comes from a family background in waste disposal in Ireland (Higgins Waste) and has long been passionate about the construction industry. Before joining Hiboo, he worked with construction technology start-ups in the US, focusing on CRM and safety technology solutions that bridged the gap between operations and digital tools.

Since joining the French tech firm, Mr Higgins has highly impacted the company’s first expansion efforts in the UK, concentrating on large-scale joint venture infrastructure projects (Hinkley point C) and the plant hire sector (eg Flannery) where accurate, automated data sharing across the supply chain is a key challenge.
