R Collard wins two National Recycling Awards

Waste-recycling operator wins two accolades at National Recycling Awards

HAMPSHIRE-based R Collard have achieved double success at this year’s prestigious National Recycling Awards, winning the Best Recycling Facility and Independent Operator accolades.

R Collard, which operates throughout the South of England, were praised by the judges, declaring the company’s concrete recycling plant as the ‘stand out winner’ in the Recycling Facility category for 2020.

‘I am so proud that we have won these awards, which not only provide recognition and affirmation of the considerable investment we have made to bring innovative techniques and technology to the waste sector, but also the hard work our employees put in every day to deliver on our commitments to customer satisfaction and service excellence,’ said Robert Collard, founder and managing director of R Collard.

In naming R Collard ‘Independent Operator of the Year’, the judging panel said the recycling firm had demonstrated ‘a clear plan that has shown growth, been dynamic, adventurous, invested in R&D and is making a difference in the industry’.

The annual National Recycling Awards bring together recycling and waste-management professionals and recognize and celebrate best practice and innovation across the UK industry. With 17 categories, the Awards cover every aspect of the waste and recycling sector.
