Can you inspire our future generations?

Learn more about inspiring the workforce of tomorrow at this 2h event in Leicester

ATTRACTING future generations into the mineral products industry is more important than ever. Projects involving schools across the UK have been under way for some time, all focused on breathing future life blood into the industry, but help is needed in rolling out the projects.

From 10am to 12pm on Wednesday 11 March 2015, at Lafarge Tarmac’s Granite House, Watermead Business Park, Granite Way, Syston, Leicester LE7 1PL, this event will provide an opportunity to gain an insight into the British Science Association’s CREST Awards, alongside exiting new sector-related projects that have been developed together with employers to focus on engagement with future generations.

Guest speakers including Anthony Elgey, general manager of MP Futures; Cathy Brown, regional networks manager, STEMNet; John Finn, Department for Business Innovation & Skills; and Judith Payne, CREST Co-ordinator will provide insights into initiatives which are setting out to inspire young adults and engage with local schools.

People undertaking all roles in the industry are needed to play an instrumental role in inspiring the workforce of tomorrow by becoming one of the project’s Ambassadors. To find out more or to confirm your place at the event, contact Anthony Elgey on: 07825 294 009; or email: Anthony.Elgey@mp-qc.co.uk
