Blue Spares to host open day

Crushing and screening spare parts specialists to showcase latest investment in new facilities and state-of-the-art equipment

BLUE Spares, the after-sales support company within the Blue Machinery Group, are to hold an open day on Wednesday 9 June 2011. The company has recently expanded its premises in Warrington, Cheshire, with a brand new warehouse and fully automated and computer-controlled Kardex Shuttle stock-picking system.

In addition to guided tours of the facilities and a demonstration of the Kardex system, Doppstadt and Powerscreen equipment will be on display.

Blue Spares have invested around £500,000 in improving their after-sales support services and the installation of the Kardex Shuttle unit will play a major part in delivering high-quality, proactive spares services to customers.

As a high-density vertical-lift system, the stock-picking equipment maximizes ceiling and shelf height and can carry weights of 60 tonnes or more, freeing up floor space and providing extra storage areas for increased line of stock items.

‘We look forward to welcoming guests to our open day on 29 June and promise an informative and impressive event,’ commented Sean Warburton, managing director of Blue Spares.

‘The past couple of years have been extremely successful for us and the open day will be an ideal opportunity to clearly demonstrate our commitment to providing what we believe is the best possible spare parts operation of its kind in the UK crushing, screening and recycling markets.’

Anyone interested in attending the open day should contact Blue Spares on tel: (07765 003784).
