BAA launches BAA-Active microsite

BAA-Active

New platform for campaigns and initiatives supported by the British Aggregates Association

THE British Aggregates Association (BAA) has launched its new BAA-Active microsite, which will showcase its support for initiatives including the HSE’s ‘Working Minds’ campaign and the National Highways and Driving for Better Business’ ‘Calm Driver’ campaign.

BAA-Active will also host the British Aggregates Association’s own ‘Safe Load - Safe Road’ campaign, a national campaign designed to raise awareness around load security throughout the industry, and specifically to get schools and pupils involved with the chance to win some amazing prizes for them and their schools.

BAA chief executive officer Mike Phillips said: ‘We are really excited about BAA Active – it gives us a home for the many worthwhile campaigns and initiatives that the BAA supports and plans to develop now and into the future.

‘The site gives our membership a platform where we can focus and collaborate across campaigns and share information about the things that matter to us as an association and as an industry. We are particularly excited about our very first campaign, Safe Load, which will see us interact with schools and pupils to help raise awareness in a fun way.’

Anyone requiring further details or who would like to get involved, should visit: www.baa-active.co.uk and sign up to show their support. Alternatively, contact: mphillips@british-aggregates.com
