Company relocates to new manufacturing and R&D hub on outskirts of Chesterfield

FOLLOWING several years of impressive growth, Atlantic Pumps have moved to a new 1.25-acre site in Sheepbridge Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Chesterfield.

The premises bring together Atlantic’s Chesterfield and Sheffield operations and create a new manufacturing and research hub – placing the company at the forefront of pump innovation and fluid management in the quarry and recycling industries.

The move will allow Atlantic Pumps to increase manufacturing output and expand stockholding of products whilst further developing their Audex, SlurryPro, Gromatex and EnviroHub brands.

In addition, the relocation to the new premises – coupled with significant year-on-year growth – has already seen the creation of several new jobs at the company in the first half of 2021.

Commenting on the new facilities, Andy Smith, managing director of Atlantic Pumps, said: ‘This move is very much the next step of our journey in supporting our customers and is vital for maintaining the service levels which have driven our growth.

‘It enables us to make customers lives easier and offer more sound, sensible solutions to pumping challenges in the quarry and recycling industries.’
