Atlantic Pumps acquire major shareholding in Peveril Machinery

Quarry pump specialist partners with specialist in dry bulk handling and storage solutions

ATLANTIC Pumps, manufacturers and suppliers of pumps to quarries and heavy industry, have purchased the major shareholding in Peveril Machinery. The agreement will see Peveril join the Intrax family of companies, to which Chesterfield-based Atlantic belong, giving the company global reach.

Peveril, who celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2024, specialize in bulk handling and storage solutions for heavy industry sectors including aggregates, cement and recycling. The Nottinghamshire-based company supplies silos, conveyor systems, vibration solutions, valves, filters, and mixing, batching and monitoring equipment, all backed by a knowledgeable team that is committed to providing the fastest response.

 

Commenting on the partnership, Atlantic Pumps’ managing director, Andy Smith, said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity to bring improved customer service and time-saving solutions for our customers on dry solutions and bulk handling.’
