Another Bell wheel loader for Brewster’s Waste

Bell L2106E wheel loader

London-based waste-management firm strengthens machinery fleet with second Bell L2106E wheel loader

BREWSTER’S Waste have shown their loyalty to the Bell Equipment brand by adding another L2106E wheel loader to their plant equipment fleet. The company – a domestic and commercial waste specialist – honoured with the Royal warrant for supplying its services to the Royal households and demonstrating an appropriate environmental and sustainability policy, has been building its dependable status since 1960.

Brewster’s strong commitment to environmental best practice has indeed been reflected in their recent investment in new loading machinery, most notably the Bell L2106 wheel loader.

The machine, for example, is powered by a PowerTech diesel engine (emissions-certified), which is complemented by an equipped Quad-Cool configuration designed to effectively isolate the radiator, air-conditioner condenser, intercooler, hydraulic, transmission and axle coolers away from engine heat.

Built to increase productivity and uptime while lowering running costs, the specialist fuel-efficient features of the L2106E were also what attracted Brewster’s to Bell for the second time, as Steven Brewster, managing director, explained: ‘This new Bell loader is an excellent addition to our fleet. Having had such a positive experience with our previous Bell L2106, we had no hesitation in securing another, newer model, as our success with the vehicle’s design, handling and efficiency was so marked.’

Mr Brewster is no stranger to Bell products and having drove other Bell models himself; he has been considerably impressed with the new machine’s overall handling, efficiency and capabilities.

‘There was a Bell loader we ran without any issues for an impressive four years; carrying out waste handling, muck loading and manoeuvring hardcore as part of our waste and recycling operation,’ he said. ‘We do, however, like to keep our fleet current, so recently we chose to investigate a part-exchange option with Bell that would equip us with another great machine.’

Bell offered the company a competitive deal on a part-exchange package and when Mr Brewster was told a L2106E model was in stock, Mr Brewster quickly accepted the deal and put the new machine into action.

‘I’m very pleased with this new vehicle,’ he said. ‘The driver comfort is excellent, the weighing system, which comes as standard is brilliant, and the keypad entry start-up is extremely convenient. I’m also impressed with the model’s automatic shutdown facility which prevents the loader from ticking over needlessly, saving energy and resource.’

Simon Bridge, area sales manager for Bell Equipment, added: ‘Brewster’s is a company associated with reputation and reliability, supplying to and servicing many significant organizations. By combining a resolute business approach with a genuine commitment to environmental best practice, the firm continues to progress its industry standing, and we are only too pleased to be considered a choice supplier by a company with such a status.’
