Youngman introduce LED lighting tower

Youngman Ecolite lamp

Ecolite LED mobile lighting tower provides long life with lower power consumption

Youngman Group have launched the Ecolite LED mobile lighting tower, which joins the company’s existing mobile and stationary ceramic discharge lamp models.

The new tower has been introduced to meet growing interest in LED lighting across the building industry thanks to its lower power consumption, low heat output and long life.

The Youngman unit is equipped with an array of 400 individual LEDs mounted across four adjustable holders providing a total light output of 91,800 lumens.

Developed in partnership with US company Green House Strategies, the Ecolite LED offers an ultra-low fuel consumption of just 0.65 litre/h giving 145h continuous use on a single tank of diesel.

The lamps developed by Green House Strategies, leading suppliers of premium quality LED lights, are built to US military specification making them extremely robust and suitable for use in a variety of site applications.

The LED panels used by Youngman in these new lights feature 100 individual prismatic lenses which dramatically reduce the level of glare that can be a problem with some LED light sources and follows the same approach as the original ceramic discharge Ecolite models.

Youngman believe that its unique reflector system and prismatic optics are essential for increasing lighting performance and minimizing uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous glare.
