WRAP funding for brick trials

IBSTOCK Brick have been awarded funding from WRAP to undertake trials using recycled glass in the manufacture of clay bricks. The trials will establish the practicalities of introducing glass as a fluxing agent on a manufacturing scale and will demonstrate the environmental and business benefits of lower firing temperatures, reduced emissions and energy savings.
