Tenth annual conference to highlight innovative demolition techniques from around the world

TAKING place at the Aviva Stadium, in Dublin, from 7–8 November, the 10th World Demolition Summit will be highlighting innovative demolition techniques from Europe, the Americas and Asia.

The conference will include speakers from the UK, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, the US and India covering topics such as: high-tech demolition of pre-stressed concrete in Munich, Germany; use of drones to map demolition sites; demolition techniques in Russia; removal of a major bridge in India; and impact of new dust regulations in the US.

The two-day event will include an awards dinner, which is open to all contractors recognizing excellence and best practice, as determined by the summit’s international judging panel of leading industry experts.

Steve Ducker, editor of Demolition & Recycling International, the organizers of the conference, said: ‘The summit has become an important educational and networking event for the demolition and recycling industry worldwide.

‘Our 10th event in Dublin will again have speakers from all over the world sharing their experience and knowledge. Anyone interested in understanding how demolition methods are evolving should be in Dublin.’
