Webtec hydraulic data-logger

Webtec hydraulic data-logger

Webtec Products Ltd have introduced their new HPM540 hand-held data-logger, which allows the user to connect up to four sensors and measure any combination of flow, pressure, temperature, speed and custom analogue inputs.

Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, the data-logger is a valuable tool for diagnostic testing and preventive maintenance, as it can verify component settings, pinpoint poor system performance and measure pressure differentials.

The HPM540 system has a sampling speed of up to 0.25ms, suitable for capturing harmful pressure spikes. It also features ‘Sensor Recognition’ (SR), which recognizes any SR sensor connected to the data-logger, and automatically sets all parameters, including the engineering units.

Many custom sensor inputs, such as DC, current or voltage, can be connected using an optional external signal module. The Webtec data-logger also comes with free Windows-compatible HPMcomm analysis software.

Data can be sent directly to a PC or laptop, via a built-in USB port, and then displayed or annotated as a test report showing data points and graphs.
