The ‘United Kingdom Minerals Yearbook 2010’, which provides the latest comprehensive statistical data on minerals production, consumption and trade in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, has recently been produced and released by the British Geological Survey. No longer published in book format, the Yearbook is now available as a free download from the BGS website: www.bgs.ac.uk/mineralsUK/statistics/ukstatistics.html
