TWS launch the new M1700X

The new TWS MX1700X offers additional standard features and enhanced washing efficiency

Terex Washing Systems expand wash plant range with new M1700X mobile washing screen

LAST month’s CQMS 2021 event saw the official launch of Terex Washing Systems’ brand-new M1700X mobile washing screen – an enhanced version and upgraded redesign of the company’s M1700 unit.

CQMS 2021 also provided a fitting backdrop to highlight the company’s M washing equipment range which can produce up to five products – three aggregates and two sands – for quarrying, recycling, mining and industrial sands applications.

Packed with new and improved features, the M1700X has been developed to provide the highest levels of productivity, reliability and efficiency for end-users.

The washing plant has been redesigned with a strong focus on wet processing efficiency, with an adjustable spray system that offers a 16% increase in spray capacity across all decks, industry-leading levels of catchbox sealing, innovative configurable catchbox outlets and adaptive blending to maintain material specification.

The M1700X also features a new integrated high fluidization wash box that maximizes deck efficiency and increases media wear life. According to TWS, the mobile wash plant will set new standards in screenbox technology, owing to its heavy-duty bearing arrangement for long service life, higher levels of screening efficiency and throughput, increased serviceability and maintenance access, as well as increased screen angle adjustment that is highly adaptable for feed material variation.

The M1700X is also easily transportable and flexible, with a rapid set-up time (typically 15min) and a hybrid drive option available for different markets around the world.

Barry McMenamin, business line director of TWS, said: ‘The addition of the M1700X will enhance an already significant product range offered by Terex Washing Systems, meeting both market and customers’ needs for mobile washing.

‘Our team of engineers have worked closely with our customers to develop improvements to an already high performing machine, such as the new tracked rinser that features a redesigned high fluidization wash box, increased standard features and improved washing efficiency.’
