Thermal protection with Viz PF Insulator gloves
Marigold Industrial, manufacturers of hand protection products, are helping businesses to gear up for winter with the launch of a new range of high- visibility thermal gloves.
The Viz PF Insulator gloves have been developed for workers requiring all-round hand protection and good performance in hazardous working environments, such as quarries, opencast mines and construction sites.
Available in yellow or orange to fit in with high- visibility clothing, the thermal gloves help keep a worker’s hands warm using thermal terry loop seamless lining. The natural rubber coating on the palm and the fully coated thumb provide good protection and tear performance, as well as excellent wet/dry grip, thanks to the glove’s wrinkle finish.
The Viz PF Insulator is compliant with BS EN 420 (general requirements), BS EN 3888 (mechanical hazards) and BS EN 511 (cold). Marigold Industrial believe their latest line of gloves will be a success in the market, as a spokesman explained: ‘There is no worse feeling than having cold hands when working outdoors. Not only is it extremely uncomfortable, but it also reduces grip, which in itself can compromise worker safety.
