Terex Trucks to showcase Gen10 TA400 in Asia

Terex TA400 dumptruck

New-generation 38-tonne articulated hauler to take centre stage on the company’s stand at Mining Indonesia

MOTHERWELL-based Terex Trucks will be showing the Generation 10 TA400 – a EU Stage IV/Tier-4 Final emissions-compliant articulated truck – at this year’s Mining Indonesia, one of Asia’s largest international mining equipment exhibitions.

Powered by a six-cylinder Scania DC13 engine that boasts gross power of 331kW and a maximum torque of 2,255Nm, the TA400 hauler provides superior traction and an effective power-to-weight ratio to ensure material is moved as quickly as possible in all conditions – giving customers the benefits of lower operating costs and increased performance. The machine also features a spacious and ergonomic cabin, complete with a commanding view for maximum operator comfort.

Terex Trucks will collaborate with PT Uniquip, their official partners in Indonesia, during the four-day event, with a focus on promoting other proven products and services to visitors.

‘Mining Indonesia is the perfect occasion for Terex Trucks to exhibit the commitment that we have in creating high-quality products and achieving premium customer satisfaction,’ said Clement Cheong, director of sales and marketing APAC at Terex Trucks.

‘We have steadily been building our reputation in Indonesia over the years and we very much look forward to welcoming old and new clients to check out the new Gen10 38-tonne capacity TA400 at the event.’
