Tana launch landfill compactors

Tana have introduced their completely new G-series landfill compactors weighing 45–50 tonnes to the UK.

"The top-of-the-range G500 model is powered by the latest Cummins QSX15 turbo-charged diesel engine which develops 403kW (540hp), with a 448kW (600hp) option. The engine is coupled to a pair of Rexroth hydrostatic pumps and drive motors which feed Lohmann planetary drives located at the ends of two 3,798mm wide compaction drums, each delivering a crushing force of 25 tonnes."

"A new control system allows the operator to monitor and change a variety of machine functions via a LCD panel. The system also has full diagnostic capability, allowing it to instantly detect any faults or damage to ensure quick servicing and minimum downtime. Service intervals can be extended to 500h depending on site and operating conditions."

"The operator’s cab provides all-round visibility and the air-suspension seat, which incorporates all control levers, rotates through 120o to the left or right."
