Sustainabilitylive! 2008
TAKING place from May 20–22 2008 at the NEC in Birmingham, Sustainabilitylive! will bring together the National Energy Management Exhibition (NEMEX), Brownfield Expo (BEX), the Environmental Technology and Environmental Services (ET&ES) events and the International Water and Effluent Exhibition (IWEX), all under one roof.
The event will feature over 400 exhibitors, an extensive conference programme with high-profile speakers in the environment, water, land and energy sectors, as well as master classes and seminars over the three days.
NEMEX: this event will cover all aspects of management, efficiency and renewable solutions for the energy market. Topics being addressed in the Energy Seminar Theatre will include cap and trade, building labelling and renewable energy.
BEX: this event will host a number of leading exhibitors in the field, while topics at the free seminar and workshop sessions will include: decontaminate instead of ‘dig and dump’, contaminated land and the Soil Framework Directive, soil washing and taxation.
ET&ES: is an event for all those looking to upgrade, install and maintain the products that manage environmental impact, as well as being a source of environmental services ranging from management systems to training.
IWEX: some of the world’s leading water and waste water companies will showcase their innovative water and effluent products, solutions and equipment, while key spokespeople will address ‘hot topics’ such as flood risk, urban drainage solutions and reversed auctions.
Event director Donna Bushell says: ‘Sustainabilitylive! 2008 encompasses events dedicated to sustainable development and resource efficiency for both the public and private sectors, providing a solution for those with environmental management responsibility.
‘We have over 100h of free seminar content for visitors, which offers a great deal of CPD points and technical content to keep everyone up to date with industry developments across land, energy, water and the environment.’
