Stelex introduce the HT152 trommel

Stelex HT152 trommel

Company expands its heavy-duty trommel range with new 1.5m diameter static machine

AS a result of changing market trends and in order to meet customer requirements worldwide, Stelex have announced the introduction of the HT152 heavy-duty static trommel, which fits into the company’s existing range of 1.8m and 2.3m sized mobile and static units.

According to Stelex, the new trommel has a much reduced selling price while still maintaining its ‘heavy-duty’ tag within the company’s range of high-throughput, high-recovery-rate machines.

The HT152 uses a 1.5m diameter x 8m long barrel to produce up to five product sizes at a feed rate of up to 300 tonnes/h. All barrel apertures can be supplied to suit the customer’s exact site requirements.

The machine’s heavy-duty, wear-resistant feed hopper can be fed directly from a dumptruck with a maximum lump size of 750mm.

The HT152 can be mounted on concrete walls or, alternatively, on a steel under-frame with a range of chute options for effective product separation.

Material feed rate and barrel rotation speed can be regulated to suit the customer’s individual requirements, thanks the machine’s electric/hydraulic powerpack.

Other key features of the HT152 include: low maintenance, high reliability, no permanent operator required and very low cost per tonne.

Stelex say the modular design of the Hercules trommel allows for easy shipping and fast site installation, regardless of the site location.
