AB2000 Ltd have taken delivery of their first Caterpillar 312B LGP excavator in Scotland from Finning (UK) Ltd. Its first assignment has been putting the low ground pressure specification to the test at Highland Spring Ltd's Blackford site in Perthshire. The 14.5-tonne machine is fitted with 55in pads, making it easy to extract the soft peat at the site.
