Company expands operations to mainland GB with new conveyor belt depot in Ilkeston, Derbyshire
NORTHERN Ireland-based Smiley Monroe have opened a new conveyor belt depot in mainland Great Britain. Housing a large stock of flat and chevron conveyor belt options, the new depot in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, will offer full conveyor belt rolls and cut lengths of belt, with expedited delivery options available, including same-day services.
Sales director Ryan Wright commented: ‘GB has always been an important market for Smiley Monroe and when our customers asked us for faster delivery times, we answered by expanding our operations to the mainland. Our centrally located depot means we can now offer same- or next-day delivery options across the UK. The new location gives us the opportunity to outperform the competition, not just in terms of the expertise and quality we are known for, but now also with delivery options to match.’
Founded in Northern Ireland in 1979, Smiley Monroe have grown from a local service company into a global conveyor belt partner, with manufacturing and distribution facilities in the UK, US, and India, supplying some of the biggest equipment manufacturers across the construction, recycling, and environmental sectors.
