SANY deliver first 80-tonne excavator in the UK
Powerful SY750H supplied to Heritage Quarry Group (South) for bulk mineral extraction duties
SANY UK have announced the sale and delivery of their first 80-tonne excavator in the UK. The powerful SY750H machine has been supplied to the Heritage Quarry Group (South) Ltd, a leading supplier of high-quality, natural British stone products, including building stone, walling stone, and a full range of aggregates, and will be put straight to work on bulk mineral extraction duties.
Established in 2020, the Heritage Quarry Group (South) operates from Rollright, Daglingworth, and Great Tew quarries in the heart of England. Commenting on their latest investment, managing director Julian Veal said: ‘The SY750H is our third SANY machine following the purchase of a 40-tonne SY390H and a 50-tonne SY500H within the last 12 months.
‘The performance and reliability of the SANY excavators have been exceptional, so when the time came to expand our fleet, the SY750H was the natural next step – and it certainly impressed us. Combined with the excellent after-sales service and support we’ve received from SANY, the decision to add the SY750H to our operation was an easy one.’
Designed for maximum productivity, the SY750H combines a high-efficiency powertrain with advanced hydraulics and intelligent control systems, to deliver superior digging force and fuel efficiency. The new addition has been equipped with a 4.2m3 bulk bucket and provides a maximum bucket breakout force of 410kN. The combination of the 7m boom and 3m dipper arm gives a maximum reach of 12.10m and a dig depth of 7.5m.
The order was fulfilled by SANY’s direct sales team in the south of England. Sales manager Luke Ward commented: ‘The delivery of our first 80-tonne excavator in the UK is a major achievement and a clear sign of the growing confidence customers have in SANY’s heavy-duty range. The SY750H demonstrates that SANY machines are not only competitive, but also capable of meeting the high standards expected in the UK market.’
SANY say the arrival of the SY750H strengthens their expanding product portfolio in the UK and Europe, as they continue to invest in their dealer network, after-sales support, and customer service infrastructure.
